COPEHRA is a non-governmental organisation founded in 2016 with the purpose of advocating for sustainable pension payment and happy retirement outcomes and also assisting improvident individuals by ensuring that they save to cater for their livelihood.

We assist and ensure that individuals who worked hard in either public or private sector receive their retirement benefit as and when due.

In order to do this, and to support policies that will increase awareness about contributory pension, the organisation collaborates with stakeholders such as:

• Pension associations
• Market Unions
• Pension Operators
• Private sector bodies
• The media and other likeminded individuals.

We also initiate support activities and trainings to empower retirees, soon-to-be retirees from public and private sectors to have an organised and happy retirement.

The aims and objectives of the organisation include:

• To advocate and assist improvident individuals by ensuring that they save to cater for their livelihood
• To promote an advocacy scheme so that every individual who has worked in either public or private sector received his retirement benefit as and when due
• To promote the spirit of love, unity and progress among members
• To provide common forums for members to discuss issues affecting them
• To maintain discipline among members
